At Elrod Pope, we believe good lawyers should also be good citizens. We actively participate in many local legal, civic, and charitable organizations. We see getting involved and serving our communities as a natural extension of what we do every day for our clients.
Back2School Block Party
A free community event that helps local students and families prepare for the upcoming school year. It will take place on Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Saluda Trail Middle School in Rock Hill.

Pilgrim’s Inn is a non-profit organization serving Rock Hill and York County for over 40 years. They are dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing homelessness, food insecurity, and financial hardship. As volunteers, we’ve had the privilege of contributing to Pilgrims’ Inn’s mission by assisting in their food pantry, through packing grocery bags, organizing donations, and distributing food to those in need. We’ve also helped unload trucks filled with essential supplies, ensuring the pantry remains stocked for the many families it supports.
Girl Scouts of America works to help build confident, courageous, and character-driven girls that make the world a better place. We are happy to sponsor an event for our local Girl Scout troop this Summer!
York Summer Fest is an annual community event featuring live music, vendors, and activities that bring people together. We make a monetary donation each year and set up a tent to connect with attendees, hand out goodies, and celebrate the spirit of York.
National Alliance on Mental Illness
NAMI works to raise awareness and provide support for individuals and families affected by mental illness. As a financial sponsor, we not only contribute to their mission but also show our support at local walks by hosting a tent, handing out goodies, and cheering on participants as they advocate for mental health awareness.
The Come-See-Me Festival is a beloved Rock Hill tradition that brings the community together through music, food, and family-friendly events. We are excited to be a financial sponsor of the Beach Bash and Sponsors Dinner, helping make this event a memorable experience for all.
Showtime Academy Rock Hill is dedicated to nurturing young performers by providing professional training in theatre, dance, and music. We proudly support the academy’s competition theatre team, helping young artists pursue their passion and showcase their talents on a larger stage.
The Humane Society of York County is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming animals in need and improving animal welfare across the region. Our firm volunteers by cleaning, organizing, and helping with animals at the shelter. We also make financial donations to support the organization’s lifesaving work.
Rock Hill Schools serves as the foundation for education in the community, preparing students for future success. Our firm actively participates in career fairs to inspire the next generation of professionals. We also support fundraising initiatives that enhance educational opportunities for local students.
Safe Passage provides critical support and shelter for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Our team recently participated in a beautification project at their sanctuary, revitalizing the outdoor space to create a welcoming environment for the children and families they serve.
The Junior Welfare League is committed to serving the York County community by supporting local charities and initiatives. We proudly contributed to their FrostBites event and attended to help raise funds for programs that benefit those in need.
Hospice & Community Care provides compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients and their families. Our team dedicated five Tuesdays to volunteering at the Caring Closet, assisting with cleaning, organizing, and helping individuals access essential medical supplies.
Back the Pack works to ensure that Rock Hill students who experience food insecurity have access to nonperishable items each weekend. This program allows children to return to school each week without hunger as a distraction. Our team volunteers to pack food bags, helping to combat childhood hunger and support local families.
