Tommy Pope, managing partner of Elrod-Pope Law Firm in Rock Hill recently appeared on national news shows, truTV’s In Session (previously Court TV) and CNN’s Nancy Grace, to provide legal commentary regarding the upcoming trial of Casey Anthony of Florida, the young mother accused of the 2008 murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Frequently called upon for legal analysis by various national media outlets, Tommy is best known for his successful prosecution of Susan Smith in Union County for the drowning deaths of her two children in 1995. His extensive legal career includes serving as former Solicitor for the 16th Judicial Circuit (Union County and York County) and criminal law private practice. In 2007, he joined Elrod-Pope Law Firm in Rock Hill as managing partner. Tommy also is now serving as a member of the SC House of Representatives for District 47, having defeated long-time incumbent Herb Kirsch last November.
